7. If necessary, press Enter to display login prompt.
8. If you are connecting to a storage system with G275 firmware that has not been deployed:
a) Type
manage
at the login prompt and press Enter.
b) Type
!manage
at the Password prompt and press Enter.
If you are connecting to a storage system with G275 firmware that has been deployed:
a) Type the user name of a user with the manage role at the login prompt and press Enter.
b) Type the password for the user at the Password prompt and press Enter.
9. If you are connecting to a storage system with G280 firmware that has not been deployed:
a) Type
setup
at the login prompt and press Enter.
b) Do not type anything at the Password prompt and press Enter.
If you are connecting to a storage system with G280 firmware that has been deployed:
a) Type the user name of a user with the manage role at the login prompt and press Enter.
b) Type the password for the user at the Password prompt and press Enter.
10. If you want to use DHCP to set network port IP values, enter the following command at the prompt:
set network-parameters dhcp
If you want to use custom static IP addresses, enter the following CLI command to set the values you obtained in step 1:
