Remote Start Off Load
This output indicates that a digital input that has been configured as ‘ Remote
Start off load ’ is active. This output could be used to pass the remote start
signal on to elsewhere in the control system.
Remote Start On Load This output indicates that a digital input that has been configured as ‘ Remote
Start on load ’ is active. This output could be used to pass the remote start
signal on to elsewhere in the control system.
Remote Start On Load Demand
Indicates that the module’s input is active for remote start on load demand.
Also indicates that the controller has received a remote start on load signal
from the 8860 via the MSC link.
Remote Start Over MSC Indicates that the controller has received a remote start on load signal from the
8860 via the MSC link.
Reset Maintenance Alarm 1, 2, 3 Active when a digital input Reset Maintenance Alarm 1, 2, 3 is active
Reset Governor to Datum This output is intended to be used in conjunction with an electronic or
motorised potentiometer, which has a ‘centre pot’ type input. This output is
activated whenever the module needs to reset the potentiometer to its centre
position.

This output is intended to be used in conjunction with an electronic or
motorised potentiometer, which has a ‘centre pot’ type input. This output is
activated whenever the module needs to reset the potentiometer to its centre

Return delay in progress This output source will be active to indicate that the return timer is running.
Right Button Pressed Active when the Right button on the
front fascia is pressed Inactive when the button is released
Short Circuit Generator This output indicates that the module has detected a short circuit on the
generator output.
Shutdown Blocked Indicates that a Shutdown type alarm is active but that the shutdown function
has been blocked because the Protections Disabled function is active.

Active when a digital input configured to Simulate Auto Button is active
Simulate Lamp Test / Mute Active when a digital input configured to Simulate Lamp Test / Mute is active
Simulate Manual Button Active when a digital input configured to Simulate Manual Button is active

Speed Lower Relay
This output will be used to give a speed lower signal to the external governor
or electronic pot.
Speed Raise Relay
This output will be used to give a speed raise signal to the external governor
or electronic pot.
Start Delay in Progress This output source will be active to indicate that the module’s internal start
delay timer is running. Once this timer expires the module with initiate its start
sequence.
Start Relay
