Maintaining the printer

                    

User’s Guide for the ImageCard® IV Printer

Push down on the corner of the printer's top cover to unlatch it. Lift the top cover 
to the fully upright position.

Remove the print ribbon cartridge. See 

“Removing the print ribbon cartridge” on 

page 4-2

Put on the ESD strap. Follow the instructions with the strap.

Push the locking tabs to the side (step 1 in 

Figure 7-13

). Remove the printhead 

cable from the printhead board (step 2 in 

Figure 7-13

).
