Sapera Servers and Resources
A Sapera Server is an abstract representation of a physical device like a frame-grabber or camera.
When using the SapAcquisition or SapAcqDevice constructors, the location parameter specifies the
server to use to create the object. Use the Sapera Configuration utility to find the names and
indices of all Sapera servers in your system.
In Sapera LT all frame grabbers are configured using the SapAcquisition class. All CXP cameras are
GenCP compliant and are configured in Sapera LT using the SapAcqDevice class.
Note: Currently, CXP cameras do not have their own server, therefore it is available under the
Xtium_CXP server. For example, in CamExpert the Xtium server displays both the frame
grabber and camera resources.
