2.5 RESIDUAL RISKS
2.5.1 Residual risks
After thoroughly assessing all possible risks of the machine,
all the required precautions have been taken to eliminate these
risks and limit the danger to the personnel exposed.
From the risk analysis carried out and stored in the
Manufacturer’s Technical File, the following residual risk has
emerged:
•
Risk of scalding
in the lower area of the coffee brewing unit
(1)
due to the high temperature it can reach.
•
Risk of scalding
in the lower area of the hot water nozzle
(2)
due to the high temperature it can reach.
•
Risk of scalding
if the hot water nozzle
(3)
comes into contact, due to the high temperature it can reach.
•
Risk of scalding
in the lower area of the steam nozzle
(4)
due to the high temperature it can reach.
•
Risk of burns
in case of contact in the unprotected area of the steam nozzle
(5)
due to the high temperature it can reach.
