Surface Cleaning Tips
These next few pages will instruct you on how to properly use your
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS300CS
on
various surfaces in your home. Please read this section carefully before using your
KLEENJET® PRO
PLUS 300CS
.
Caution:
Do not try to clean surfaces that are made of pressed paper, cardboard, or any surface that is
painted with a non-enamel paint.
Waxed Floors
To strip wax
- Use the Large Rectangular Brush (32) for open areas and the Small Nylon Detail Brush (39)
or Small Triangular Nylon Brush (42) for corners or tight areas. Have the
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS
300CS
on medium or high. Clean about seven square feet at a time, then push the emulsified wax into a
pile and remove the emulsified wax from the floor. When all the wax has been stripped, immediately clean
the floor and brushes with water before the residue has a chance to harden. Go back over the stripped area
with the Large Rectangular Brush (32) with a towel to remove any remaining residue before waxing.
To clean wax floors-
Low pressure should be used. Clip a clean towel over the Large Rectangular Brush
(32).
WORK FAST
. This process will melt a thin top layer of wax that has the dirt in it and leave behind
what looks like a freshly waxed floor. A new layer of wax can be applied after every third cleaning without
stripping the old wax off. This technique will practically eliminate any future need for stripping.
Vinyl Floors (unwaxed)
Note:
Do not allow heat to build on any kind of vinyl, since it can soften it enough to affect its texture.
This is important to remember if you try to use one of the small brushes to remove a stubborn spot.
WORK
FAST!
Very Dirty Vinyl Floors-
Use the Large Rectangular Brush (32). Towels should not be used. Use only
vapor. Use the same back and forth motion as vacuuming. Wipe up behind yourself as you go with either
cotton or industrial sized paper towels.
Moderately Dirty Vinyl Floors-
Use the Large Rectangular Brush (32) with a towel over it at a medium
pressure to get the most speed.
