How to disengage fixed steering wheel
Steer the wheel lightly and turn the key
from
“
LOCK
”
to
“
ACC
”
.
The preheating lamp remains on for about
0.3 seconds when the coolant s temperature
is above 10
℃
, and for about 20 seconds
when the coolants temperature is lower
than 10
℃
. Start the engine by turning the
key to the
“
START
”
position after the
preheating lamp has turned off in the
“
ON
”
position.
During winter period, never start the
engine before preheating it.
Vehicles ewuipped with preheater must
start the engine after the coolant s
temperature has risen after activation
of preheater.
The engine s rotation speed is unstable
during the first 10 seconds following
the start of the engine.
Standby until the engine ECM controls
the vehicle s engine rotation speed to
stabilize.
Since the vehicle is equipped with a
turbocharger, give the vehicle enough
warming-up time so that the engine oil
can reach up to the turbocharger.
