a. Make sure the parking brakes are
applied.

b. Put the gearshift box to neutral
position (

). For automatic
transmission, make sure the
geafshift button is in the neutral
position (

). The engine won

start if any other button is selected.
c. If your vehicle is a CNG vehicle,
check if the emergency fuel cut
switch is applied. If it
’
s not, activate
the switch.
d. Press the battery main switch.
Turning the key to the starting position
(START) activates the starting motor,
which starts the engine, and the key
automatically returns to the
“
ON
”
position. Therefore, let go of the key
when the engine starts. Holding the
key continuously may cause damages
to the starting motor.
