6.6.8 MultiView Tab
This tab provides a way to configure or modify the MultiViewer
functionality of each receiver. All aspects of a MultiViewer output can be
configured here including window number and arrangement, output
resolution, and window sources.
Note: Using a source within a MultiViewer output will increase the bandwidth
requirements of the associated transmitter. The increase in bandwidth usage
depends on the pixel size of the window required by the MultiView output and
the frame rate of the source. In order to minimise the bandwidth impact with
4K sources, it is strongly recommended to enable the “MultiView Divide FPS
by two” feature of the transmitter.
1) MultiView Setup:
The upper left section of this tab contains a list
of all currently defined MultiView groups in the system. To edit an
existing MultiView group, select it from the list of “MultiView Preset
Names”, to start work on a new MultiView group, click on the “+”
symbol. To delete an existing MultiView group select the name and
then click on the trash icon.
Note: Deleting a MultiView group will not disable the MultiView output
it described if it is currently active. To completely remove a MultiView
output, a new source needs to be routed to the display, or the output
needs to be disabled from the Monitor & Control Tab.
■ Group Name:
Set the name of the MultiView group here.
■
Receiver: Select the receiver to display the MultiView output.
■ Display Resolution:
Select the output resolution for the MultiView
receiver.
