3.322 Input

Signals:

In conjunction with the backplane of the Model 54500-16 shelf, supports two
E1 or 2048 kHz inputs with three termination alternatives:

a. E1

Inputs

1. Terminating input, 120 ohms. Pulse amplitude range 0.5 volt to 3.0

volts base to peak, bipolar.

2. Bridging input, 984 ohms. Same signal levels as item 1.

3. Monitor input, 120 ohms. Pulse amplitude range 0.05 volt to 0.3 volt

base to peak.

b. 2048 kHz Inputs

1. Terminating input, 120 ohms. Pulse amplitude range 0.5 volt to 1.9

volt base to peak.

2. Bridging input, 964 ohms. Same signal levels as item 1.

3. Monitor input, 120 ohms. Pulse amplitude range 0.05 volt to 0.19 volt

base to peak.

c. One-wire interface input from the 54550 for setting framing and an input

select line from the track and hold for selecting which input signals to place
on the output lines.

d. Serial Data input from both track and hold cards to the transceiver.

e. Serial Clock from both track and hold cards to the transceiver.

f. Transceiver Select lines from both track and hold cards.
