The Information Management Card, if present, must be provisioned with the
same input architecture, AA or AB, as the track and hold cards.

The following is available for GPS systems only and must be installed in the
rightmost slot of the 54500 shelf (refer to the equipment list in Section 7):

One 54580-2 or -4 Network Time Server (NTS) Card.
1.7 Installation Advice

This system is intended for installation in the telephone central office equipment
room environment. In such an environment, central office battery plants can
supply virtually unlimited current which is fused at the relay rack fuse panel.
When a CXR Larus system is powered up altogether in one instant, the
transient inrush current is significant.
1.72
In a few customer installations, the central office battery plant is not available
so a lab-type DC power supply has been used. Many of these DC supplies
have current limiting which can be set by the user. This can cause damage to
the CXR Larus system, especially during the transient surge at
start-up.
1.73
CXR Larus recommends the normal central office battery plant for powering
this system. If it is necessary to use a lab-type DC power supply, then current
limiting is not allowed.

In many simple installations, the StarClock 200E master shelf contains all plug-
in cards and all output wiring emerges from the wirewrap field on the
