CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
h Displays the hour as a number without leading zeros (0-23)
hh Displays the hour as a number with leading zeros (00-23)
n Displays the minutes as a number without leading zeros (0-59)
nn Displays the minutes as a number with leading zeros (00-59)
s Displays the seconds as a number without leading zeros (0-59)
ss Displays the seconds as a number with leading zeros (00-59)
ttttt Displays the time in the extended format where time values are formatted with hour, minutes
and seconds (the extended time format is h:mm:ss).
AM/PM Using the 12-hour clock and displays the AM pre fi x in uppercase next to the hours that
preceding midday and the PM pre fi x in uppercase next to the hours between midday and
midnight.
am/pm Using the 12-hour clock and displays the am pre fi x in lowercase next to the hours that preceding
midday and the pm pre fi x in lowercase next to the hours between midday and midnight.
A/P Using the 12-hour clock and displays the A pre fi x in uppercase next to the hours that preceding
midday and the a pre fi x in uppercase next to the hours between midday and midnight.
a/p Using the 12-hour clock and displays the a pre fi x in lowercase next to the hours that preceding
midday and the a pre fi x in lowercase next to the hours between midday and midnight.

these steps :
1. Send the following command to de fi ne the user-de fi ned Time string format:
<TDF T yy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss>
2. Send the following command to print the time :
<TIME>
If the date and time is 22 October 2006 at 17:35:27 (PM) the output string printed will
be:
06/10/22 17:35:27
