Chapter 3: Installation

Tubular Motor Tester Wiring Diagram

CAUTION

Disconnect and lockout/tagout the system before wiring/servicing the equipment.
Use personal protection equipment specific to your installation and follow all local
and national regulatory codes.

1. Disconnect all the power sources.

2. Wire the tubular motor (89) according to the diagram in

Figure 3-44, page 51

. (Direction 1 refers to

counterclockwise rotation of the tubular motor (89) as viewed from connection end of the motor.)

3. Connect the electrical power.

4. Test the motor.

5. Disconnect the electrical power.

6. Remove the test wires.
