Installing the Top Covers and Top Flashing
After completing the curtain installation, setting and testing of the limit switches on the lock motor (90),
install the top covers.
1. Position the top cover (112) as shown below and attach the top cover (112) to the back plate (38)
with sheet metal screws. Use splices (29) to connect the top covers (112).
2. Attach the end cap (113) to the splice or top cover (112) at each end of the curtain system with sheet
metal screws.
3. Position the top flashing (111) onto the top of the support brackets (31) and attach the back flange of
the top flashing (111) to the fillers with 1/4" x 1-1/2" hex lag screws (5).
4. Also, attach the top flashing (111) to the top of the support bracket (31) with #14 x 1" TEK screws (3)
at 1/2" from the bottom edge of support bracket (31).
