(a) The mixture control knob (1) is secured to the instrument panel (4) with a lock
washer (5), and a nut (6).
(b) The mixture knob (1) should have enough movement so that the carburetor
mixture lever contacts the stops at both extents of its travel and there should not
be more than ¼” cushion (2) between the knob (1) and the panel nut (3) in the
full rich position.
