This page includes some the most frequent problems, possible causes thereof as well as possible solutions.
ATTENTION
Some of the problems encountered can be solved by the operator by referring to the
operations described in the Section entitled Maintenance, while other problems will
have to be solved by contacting an authorised workshop.
Problem
Vibration of cylinders,
telescopic elements, which
don’t move smoothly
during the initial operation
Vibrations during all
movements when oil is hot
Vibrations during
extension of telescopic
elements
The machine does not lift
the car
The machine lifts but
cannot support the load
Troubleshooting
Cause
Hydraulic oil temperature is too
low.
Lack of oil in tank.
There is air inside the hydraulic
system.
Lack of lubricant
Worn slides
Uncalibrated arm extension
cylinder valve
Damaged pump
Uncalibrated valves
Worn cylinder seals
Worn cylinder seals
Uncalibrated valves
Jack valves dirty
or worn
Solution
Carry out idle operation for a few
minutes in order to heat up the
oil.
Add hydraulic oil.
Shift the cylinders repeatedly in
both directions at the end of their
runs.
Grease the telescopic
elements.
Replace the slides
Calibrate the valve
Replace the pump
Calibrate the valves.
Replace the seals
Replace the seals
Calibrate the valves.
