Auto Rinse Water Flow Control (Timed Cascade)
This optional feature allows you to specify a
duration of time for which fresh water fill will be
provided to the rinse tank(s) via a solenoid valve.
In the typical configuration, fresh water delivered
on the timed cascade line enters the second rinse
tank by a bottom sparger, and spent water
overflows to drain from the first rinse tank. Thus,
continual or intermittent refreshment may be
provided to the rinsing function.
T o activate* timed cascade, press the
CASCADE
button on the console control panel. The solenoid
valve will open and remain open until the timer
times out. (
Note: The control for this function
may also be labeled “FILL.”
Please refer to your
electrical schematics for details.)
To re-set this function: press the
CASCADE
button to release it, then press it again to
re-activate.
The amount of flow may be controlled by adjusting
the ball valve that precedes the solenoid valve.
The timed cascade function can be bypassed by
closing this valve completely when timed cascade
is not being used. (Initial fill of the tank is typically
done via the bypass route.) These plumbing
options are clearly indicated on the plumbing
schematic provided with your cleaning system.
NOTE: if the cleaning system utilizes a Rigibot CTS-
model materials handling assembly, it may be possible to
program the timed cascade function to occur
automatically, controlled by the PLC.
