3.2  USE OF SPECIAL OPTIONS:

Auto Rinse Water Flow Control

(via Resistivity Probe and Controller

in Conjunction with a Solenoid Valve)

,

continued

How to use this feature:

if you ordered the

resistivity monitor feature, the user-settable

controller and probe are already installed on your

machine.  Before processing, you should set the

controller to the lowest level of resistivity that is

considered acceptable for the final rinse tank.

Refer to manufacturer’s instructions in the

“Reference” section of this manual for further

information about the use of your resistivity

monitor.

Hints for successful use of this feature:

The

resistivity probe must be in flowing water (achieved

by placing it in the overflow weir).

Space between the probe points should be kept

free and open, since excessive air bubbles or build-

up of dirt or grit between the probe points will

cause faulty readings.

CAUTION:  Do not allow the probe points to run

“dry.”  They will eventually burn out in this

condition.

Controller may be calibrated according to instructions in

the manufacturer’s literature in the “Reference” section of

this manual.
