30 Chapter 3 – Maintenance
Maintenance Schedule
Table 3 on page 30 outlines the maintenance required to achieve optimum
performance quality of the output device, and to decrease the number of
service calls you make. Failure to perform this maintenance can result not
only in poorer performance, but also can cause serious damage to your
output device. Keep records of when you perform maintenance on the
output device.
WARNING: Before performing any maintenance procedure, ensure that the
output device is not imaging a medium. The output device should then be shut
down.
