Chapter 1 – System Overview

Trendsetter 3244+ AL System

The Trendsetter 3244+ AL system is a fast, PostScript-compatible,
automatic platesetting system. The Trendsetter 3244+ AL features
automatic loading/unloading of plates. Imaged plates are automatically
sent to a plate processor, stacker, or punch/bender. Individual plates can
also be imaged using the Manual Bypass mode.

The Trendsetter 3244+ AL system consists of the output device, computer
workstation, and workstation software. This manual covers the output
device only.

Output Device

This manual describes the output device as if you are facing the front of it.
Figure 1 illustrates the output device’s main components.
