Installing The Wire Rope (Hoisting Cable) Through Linerider Assembly Instructions
Important note: The linerider component should be located on the top of the boom and as close to the
boom tip as possible. The wire rope should be maintained according to standard practices (in good condition,
properly lubricated) to ensure correct calibration.
Installation steps
1. With linerider positioned as illustrated at right
remove free axle (at right bottom of the linerider).
2. With linerider positioned as illustrated above
remove anchoring axle (at left bottom of the
linerider).
3. Remove anchor component with sleeve.
4. Remove measurement pulley axle (at the left
center of the linerider).
5. Remove the pulley with its sleeve.
6. Pass and position the wire rope (hoisting cable)
as illustrated at right.
7. Put the linerider back together in reverse of
disassembly steps.
