Where there is a smell of gas
1. - Turn off the gas cock.
2. - Ventilate the room.
3. - Do not turn on any electrical appliance, including a
telephone.
4. - From another room, immediately call a professionally
qualified technician or the gas supply company. In their
absence, call the fire service.
Where there is a smell of the products of combustion
1. - Turn off the device.
2. - Ventilate the room.
3. - Call a professionally qualified technician.
Explosive or highly inflammable products
Do not store or use explosive or highly inflammable products
such as paper, solvents, paints, etc., in the same room as the
device is installed in.
Installation, modifications
The installation, calibration or modification of the gas
appliance must be carried out by professionally qualified
people, in compliance with national and local regulations,
as well as with the instructions given in this manual.
Incorrect installation or poor maintenance can cause injury
or damage to people, animals or things, for which the
manufacturer cannot be held responsible.
The appliance’s exhaust must be connected to an exhaust
gases discharge duct. Failure to abide by these regulations
results in serious risks to the safety of people and animals.
The parts that carry flue gases must not be modified.
Do not obstruct the ends of the intake / exhaust ducts.
Do not leave packaging and replacement parts within
reach of children.
Seal off the control devices after each calibration.
The user, in line with the arrangements for use, is obliged
to maintain the system in good order and to guarantee
reliable and safe operation of the equipment.
The user is obliged to have maintenance of the system
carried out according to national and local regulations
and according to the arrangements of this brochure, by a
professionally qualified technician.
We would also highlight the convenience of an annual
maintenance contract with a professionally qualified
technician.
Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operations,
disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply and
gas, activating the relevant isolation devices up-stream
from the appliance.
After completing any cleaning or maintenance operation,
before reconnecting the electric power supply, make
sure that all the internal parts of the appliance have been
properly dried.
This appliance cannot be used by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capacities or with little experience and knowledge unless
they are tested and instructed on the use of the appliance
by the person responsible for their safety.
This brochure is an integral and essential part of the product
and must be retained carefully by the user for possible future
reference. If the appliance has to be replaced or if you have
to move and leave behind the appliance for another user,
always make sure that this brochure is left for the new user
and/or installer.
Any eventual optional extras or kits added later must be
Cosmogas originals.
The manufacturer bears no contractual or non-contractual
responsibility for damage caused by errors in the installation
or use and also where the instructions given by the
manufacturer himself, or the applicable national and local
laws, are not observed.
For reasons of safety and environmental protection, the
various pieces of packaging must be disposed of in suitable
recycling centres.
Safety notices
The temperatures of the swimming pool or the jacuzzi
must never be higher than 40°C. A temperature of 38°C is
considered safe for a healthy adult. Special care is advised
with small children.
Drinking alcoholic beverages before or during the use of the
swimming pool or jacuzzi may cause drowsiness that could
lead to a loss of consciousness and then cause drowning.
Pregnant women must take special care. Immersion in
water at more than 39°C can cause damage to the foetus
during the first three months of pregnancy. Pregnant women
should stick to the maximum rule of 38°C. Ask your doctor’s
opinion before using the swimming pool or jacuzzis.
Before getting into the pool or jacuzzi, the user must check
the water temperature with an accurate thermometer.
People with heart disease, circulatory problems, diabetes
or blood pressure problems must ask the opinion of their
doctor before using the swimming pool or jacuzzis.
People taking drugs that cause drowsiness, such as
tranquillisers, antihistamines, or anticoagulants should not
use swimming pools or jacuzzis.
In the event of a fault
In the event of a fault and/or poor operation of the storage
tank, disconnect it and do not attempt to carry out any
repair. Contact only a professionally qualified technician. If
components need to be replaced, these must be original spare
parts. Should this be ignored, the safety of the equipment may
be compromised.
Professionally qualified technician

By professionally qualified technician we mean someone
having specific technical skills in the sector of the components
of systems for heating and the production of hot water for
hygienic and sanitary uses in a civil context, electrical systems,
and systems for the use of exhaust gases. Such people must
have the skills envisaged by the law.
Technical drawings
All the drawings shown in this manual, relating to electrical,
plumbing or gas installation systems, must be understood to
be purely illustrative. All the safety devices, auxiliary devices
as well as the diameters of the electrical, hydraulic and gas
pipes, must always be checked by a professionally qualified
technician, to make sure they satisfy the applicable laws and
regulations.
