The HR Monitor
Assemble the HR Monitor Belt:
1. Snap the transmitter onto the elastic strap
2. Wet the electrode surfaces on the inside of the belt on either side of the transmitter with water, contact lens solution, electrode gel to improve
conductivity
3. Adjust the strap to fit tightly and comfortably around the subject’s thorax without restricting breathing
4. Secure the strap tightly around the chest (below the nipple line) and lock the buckle

The HR Monitor must be worn against bare skin to ensure successful operation. Best Practice – To acquire the most accurate HR signal, the HR
transmitter and receiver should be in close proximity
