11.1 Automatic oven cleaning
CONVOClean
system
•
The combi steamer with automatic
cleaning (CONVOClean
system ) is
delivered ready to use.
Assemble the suction hose for the
cleaning solution and jet spray solution.
The automatic cleaning system has two
separate connections:
– for the cleaning solution
„CONVOClean“ (front connection–
red = (G))
– for the jet spray solution
„CONVOCare“ (rear connection–
transparent = (F)) (
please note
information on the green label).

Only CONVOClean cleaning solution
and CONVOCare in user-ready mixture
as jet spray solution are allowed to be
used. Only this combination ensures a
safe and effective cleaning system.
CONVOClean and CONVOCare are
available at your combi steamer
distributor.
A brochure on the cleaning solution is
included in each unit.
•
Mix the delivered CONVOCare
concentrate in a clean, empty 10 liter
cannister (CONVOCare empty
cannister) with soft water. Observe the
mixing instructions on the label!
•
Make sure that the hand shower is
connected to a cold water source!
•
A soft water connection is required for
the cleaning system to function (
→
Chapter 4.1) and a water pressure (flow
pressure) of 300 kPa – 600 kPa (3 –
6 bar) flow pressure.
•
Attention:
There is a danger of burns when
water is sprayed into hot grease!
Before cleaning, remove the grease
drip tray out of the unit by handling
with water and coercing.

•
Connect the suction hose as follows:
– Unscrew the union nut for both
bulkhead connections left on the
unit floor and put them on the
suction hoses.
– Put the red suction hose for
CONVOClean on the connection
nipple of the front bulkhead
connection.
– Put the clear suction hose for
CONVOCare on the nipple of the
rear bulkhead connection.
– Secure both hoses with union nuts
(tighten by hand).
– Attention: There is a health danger
to guests if the connections for
CONVOClean and CONVOCare are
switched or other cleaning
products are used.
