3. Select the desired demodulator acquisition delays for each prime channel (each demodulator
may be set to a different time delay if desired).
4. Press <CLR> or <NEXT> to abort programming (no switch parameters changed).
5. Press <ENT> to load the information on the screen into the switch parameter table.

Press to move the blinking cursor to the left. Used to select the demodulator (labeled
DMD1 through DMD9) to which the acquisition time is to be changed.
S2

Press to move the blinking cursor to the left. Used to select the demodulator (labeled
DMD1 through DMD9) to which the acquisition time is to be changed.
S3 --- N/A
S4 NEXT Press to cycle to the next screen.
Numeric Keypad ---
Used to enter the acquisition time for the selected demodulator.
Press <CLR> or <NEXT> to abort programming (no switch parameters changed).
Press <ENT> to load the information on the screen into the switch parameter table.
4.3.1.22 FORCE MANUAL BACKUP
This screen allows the user to switch prime channels into backup manually. Backup Channel 1 must be in
manual mode to force prime channels into backup. If a prime channel is configured for linked switching,
then switching the prime channel modulator only will also switch the demodulator. Multiple modems may
be set. These connections may be any of the following:

M - Modulator
•
D - Demodulator
• U - Modem
4.3.1.22.1 Programming steps:
1. Press SET BU1 to switch prime channels to Backup Channel 1.
2. Press SET BU2 to switch prime channels to Backup Channel 2.
3. Press <CLR> or <NEXT> to abort programming (no switch parameters changed).
