Bar Code Driver Options And Modifiers
Option Modifiers Default Description
Beep Duration:
(0 – 500 ms)
Frequency:
(100 – 5000 Hz) 50,3136 Beep on successful decode.
Disabled if duration = 0, or using “-
beep”.
Btn None ON Enables or disables (“-btn”)
scanning button for activating
driver. When disabled, the
<SCAN> key will not start
scanning. The <SCAN> key
should be read by the user’s
application. The API call always
works regardless of the state of this
control. When enabled, the
<SCAN> key is absorbed by the
driver. When disabled the
<SCAN> key is placed in the
keyboard buffer normally.
C11 Check digits (1-2) ON Decode Code 11. Default is to use
2 Modulo 11 check digits. Check
digit(s) are validated, but not
returned.
C128 None ON Decode Code 128.
C93 None ON Decode Code 93.
Cbar Min chars (3 - 64),
ABC mode
(“ABC”) ON Decode Codabar characters. The
modifier sets the minimum number
of characters to decode including
start and stop characters, default =
5. If the ABC option is enabled,
this is the minimum total for both
groups including all start and stop
characters.
If “ABC” option is included, any
valid Codabar character group that
ends with ‘D’ will be concatenated
(linked together) to any adjacent
valid group with a ‘D’ start
character. Concatenation will
occur for any valid number of
labels in a row.
DblSc None OFF Double scan. (Redundancy check,
look for 2 identical scans before a
valid read).
Dsym None N/A Enables all symbologies that are
listed here as ON by default. Useful
to disable all standard codes (-
Dsym), then enable only the ones
desired.
EAN13 None ON Decode EAN-13 symbols.
