Key Scan
apifKeyScan
Syntax:
Rslt$ = apifKeyScan()
Input:
None
Returns:
Rslt$ = Value of a keypress as a string. e.g. “A” = 65
Notes:
Waits until a key is pressed or a bar code is scanned.
When a key is pressed, returns the value of the key.
Returns 999 when a barcode is scanned.
Exist
apifExist
Syntax:
apifExist(FileName$)
Input:
FileName = Filename to be verified.
Returns:
1 if the file exists, 0 if the file does not exist or is not
found.
Notes:
Checks to see if a designated file exists.
File Setup
apisFileSetup
Syntax:
Calls apisFileSetup(FileName, Fields(), FieldCount)
Input:
FileName = Filename that is to be used to store data.
Fields() = Two dimensional array containing field name
and field length.
FieldCount = Number of Fields() in the array.
Returns:
None
Notes:
Used to create a definition file (FileName.AFD). AFD
files are used by all file routines.
