Syntax: 

Cbe [options] 

Option 

Description 

/e 

use European date format dd/mm/yy instead of default 
USA format mm/dd/yy 

/i 

use an alternate TSR ID value. This must be a unique 
number between 192 and 207, inclusive. The default 
value is 205. 

/u 

uninstalls the TSR if possible  

Notes:

 

q 

CBE permanently hooks interrupts 08, 09, 13, 28, 2F. 

q 

CBE transiently hooks interrupts 1B, 23, 24 at activation. 

q 

CBE communicates with the APM driver using the standard INT2F 
interface, and directly with the APM BIOS using the INT15 interface. 
Portions of the INT15 interface are proprietary to the Apex design. 
See the Datalight ROM-DOS Developers Guide for further 
information regarding the INT2F power interface and applications. 

q 

CBE maintains a separate stack space and does not borrow from the 
interrupted application. 

q 

CBE is compatible with both the APM 1.1 and 1.2 protocols, however 
the Datalight APM driver 

power.exe

 uses the V1.1 interface 

q 

CBE releases its’ environment space back to DOS when it goes 
resident. 

q 

CBE is written in C and assembly language
