the cable for voltage distribution between the data logger and the modem. For more detailed

4.3.4. The data logger and the modem interconnection
The Sxxxx or Rxxxx data logger and the modem interconnection is provided with the
COM
adapter
. Connect the adapter connector to the RS232 connector on the modem and plug the adapter
to the guide slots on the side of the data logger. Heed to keep a minimum distance between the
modem antenna and the data logger during installation to prevent the data logger interference. This
distance may not be in any case less than 50 centimeters. Keeping the distance at least 1 meter is
recommended. The correct way to connect is shown in the picture given below.
