7.2. 

One Shot Boil: 

To boil the maximum volume of water, ensure the Control Panel 

Toggle Switch is in the OFF position. Remove the Inner Container and stow in a safe 
place. Fill the HW & R with potable water up to the Upper Level Line (3 Litres – 
maximum for boiling).  

 

Note: 

Always check the vent hole in the cover is clear before closing the cover.

 

 

Close the cover ensuring the latch is secure. 
 
Switch the Toggle Switch to the ‘HI’ position and the operational sequence will follow 
as per the table below.

Note: Stages 3 and 4 above will cycle continuously until Toggle switch is operated. 

 

 

 

When boiling occurs, steam will be seen to vent through the Pressure Release Valve. 
The HW & R can be switched off at any time by returning the Toggle Switch to the 
OFF position. 

 

When Hot Water is required, discharge the required volume into an appropriate 
container by operating the tap, tacking care and using gloves or other hand protection 
as necessary. 
 

DO NOT OPEN THE COVER IF THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE IS 

‘HISSING’ OR VENTING STEAM. ALWAYS VENT WATER THROUGH THE TAP 
BEFORE OPENING THE COVER. PRESSURISED BOILING WATER CAN 
SERIOUSLY SCALD. 

 

If Stage 4 in the table above has been reached and the unit is switched off and then 
back on to high, the one shot boil sequence detailed on stages 1 to 3 in the above 
table will be repeated. The time to boil from the high temperature of 86

°

C temperature
