7. Control Panel a. Check control panel is secure to the
main case and has no missing or
broken parts.
Control Panel has
loose or missing
screws. Any part is
loose or missing.
b. Check power cable connector is
properly connected to the power
connector.
Power cable connector
plug cannot be
connected or
connection is unsafe.
8. Main Case Check for leakage of water
indicated by damp or discoloured
patches on the cover seal. Leakage of water is
observed.
9 Tap. Check for leakage of water after
each operation. Leakage of water is
observed.
10 Cover. Inspect for dirt, grease, oil or food
debris.
11 Inner Container. a. Check food has been removed.
b. Inspect for dirt, grease, oil or food
debris.
12. Outer Container a. Check water has been removed.
b. Inspect for dirt, grease, oil or food
debris.
13. Main case a. Inspect for dirt, grease, oil or food
debris.
b. Check inner container is fitted. Inner container is
missing.
c. Check cover is installed and the
latch is closed and locked. Cover will not fit or
latch will not close and
lock.
9.2. Cleaning and Sanitising.
Cleaning & sanitising of the HW & R should be performed when identified as
necessary from the check / procedures described in Paragraph 9.1 Table
‘Preventative Maintenance Checks and Service.
These operations are defined as follows:
Cleaning: Cleaning of internal and external parts using hand dishwashing compound.
Sanitising: Sanitising of internal parts using food service disinfectant.
