Adjusting the carburetor
The carburetor is set at the factory and should only be adjusted later if it is absolutely necessary.
The carburetor has three adjusting screws on the left side of the device:
• L for setting a lower motor speed.
• H for setting the high motor speed.
Use the screws
L
and
H
to adjust the quantity of fuel in relation to the air stream. Turning the screw
clockwise produces a leaner fuel-air mixture (less fuel); turning the screw anti-clockwise produces
a rich mixture (more fuel).
NOTICE!
Device damage!
Replace the spark plug only with a new spark plug of the same type (▸
).
NOTICE!
Device damage!
To clean the spark plug, use only wire brushes with brass bristles. Bristles of any other
material will damage the electrode!
NOTICE!
Device damage!
The adjustment of the carburetor should only be done by an expert!
