WPA-PSK - WEP
The WPA protocol with pre-shared key (PSK) and WEP
encryption is used to establish a connection. The net-
work key must consist of 8 – 63 alphanumeric charac-
ters.
If this encryption is enabled, it can take up to 30 seconds
to store the settings in the tool.
WPA/WPA2-PSK -
TKIP
The WPA/WPA2 protocol with pre-shared key (PSK) and
TKIP encryption is used to establish a connection. The

CISCO LEAP
Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol
(LEAP) is
used to establish a connection to an authentication
server. Entry of user name and password is required.
Only available for tools from the 17BPX… and 47BAX…
series.

Obtain an IP
address
automatically
(DHCP)
Defines whether the IP address is obtained automatically from a DHCP
server or access point. If automatic address assignment is used, it must be
ensured that the DHCP server or access point always uses the IP address
assigned for this specific tool.
The automatically obtained IP address of the tool is displayed on the tool in
the
WLAN wireless transmission
menu.
