System Torque Units
You can select the system torque units that the TME station
controller uses. The following are available for selection: Nm,
FtLbs (feetpound), InLbs (inchpound) and KgCm. If the unit
changes, all torque values are immediately converted to the
new unit.
NOK if start switch release
Causes NOK status after a rundown with premature Cancel
because start enable is withdrawn. This is always the case if
the rundown did not terminate as programmed, i.e. the tool
failed to reach the shut-off or upper limit value for torque or
angle or reached the Maximum Fastening Time. In this case,
a NOK result is generated.
Note:
If this parameter is not activated, then a rundown is
evaluated as OK if the last Stage is reached and the values lie
within the tolerance range; reaching of the shutoff criterion is
not required.
Archive only if
Torque > Trigger
Allows the user to specify that only rundowns for which the
torque is larger than the Trigger torque of the last fastening
stage should be saved in the Chrono History.
External Application Select
– Only for TMEB-200 / TMEC:
Specifies that there must be an external signal at input 0..7 to
select the application. In the absence of a signal, the TME
controller defaults to Application 1.
External Tool enable
– Only for TMEB-200 / TMEC:
Specifies that there must be an external signal at input 6 for
the sequence to start.
Synchronization after NOK
Specifies that the tool is disabled after a NOK rundown until
data has been synchronized between TMEB and tool
Enable tool menu
Enables the tool menu. If this option is selected, the menu
functions are enabled on the tool. The functions
Set position
and
Emergency strategy
are not affected by this.
Enable Set Position
Enables the
Set position
submenu on the tool. This submenu
can be used to change the current link position. If the link
position is changed manually, the linking result is always eval-
uated as
NOK
.
Enable Emergency Strategy
The emergency strategy can be enabled on the tool under
Administration/Emergency strategy
. It can be
enabled if communication with the TMEB-200 / TMEB-COM /
TMEC is interrupted. In this case, the last fastening parame-
ters used are applied to further rundowns. Once communica-
tion is restored, the Emergency strategy is automatically
disabled.
For steps, the last fastening parameters used are the fasten-
ing parameters of the last step executed; when there are no
steps, the parameters of the last executed rundown are used
