Chapter 1 Configuring
Configuring
Server Configuration Process
To configure servers, perform this task:
Step 1
Enable .

Establish the server connections to the Nexus 5000 Series switch.

Configure the preshared secret keys for the servers.

If needed, configure server groups with subsets of the servers for AAA

Enabling
By default, the feature is disabled on the Nexus 5000 Series switch. To explicitly enable the
feature to access the configuration and verification commands for authentication, perform
this task:
