Alternate ways to connect the console to your TV service

111

I want to use ūmi with my AV receiver and hear the sound through external
speakers, but there’s no available HDMI input on the receiver

This setup method works if you want to watch TV and use ūmi at the same time, without switching HDMI
inputs. For setups where you switch HDMI inputs to watch TV or use ūmi, follow the diagram shown
below, but connect your set top box directly to your TV—not to the ūmi console.

Starting with your TV service set top box, be sure to connect the ūmi console, receiver, and TV in this
order:

set top box → ūmi console → receiver (for audio)
