1. Do one of the following:
•
If you connect to the Internet using an Ethernet cable: Select ethernet . If you have connected
ūmi to your router or Internet jack using the cable, you’re done with network setup.
•
If you connect to the Internet wirelessly: Select wireless . Continue with step 2.
M ake sure your router is set to broadcast your network name (SSID). Otherwise, ūmi cannot detect the
network.
2. Do one of the following:
•
If your network is displayed: Press or on the remote to select your network. Press to
select your network.
•
If your network is not displayed: Select join other . Enter the network name.
3. If your network requires a password (network key), use the onscreen keyboard to enter the
password (see
Use the onscreen keyboard ).
Check with the company that provides your network if you do not know the network name or password.
4. Select OK on the network connection confirmation screen.
