Configure Basic Settings

Accessing the Cable Modem Gateway

You must access the WebWizard in order to configure the cable modem gateway. To

gain access to the WebWizard, use the Web browser on the PC attached to the

gateway and complete the following steps.

Type the following IP address and then select

http://192.168.0.1

. An authentication window similar to the following window

opens.

Leave the User Name field blank and enter your password in the Password field.

The Web browser accesses the WebWizard and displays the default

About Your

Modem

page. This page displays information about your cable modem along

with a series of tabs for accessing other WebWizard configuration and operation

features.
