Appendix A ACS Command Reference
EXEC Commands
If you get any of these warnings, enter
YES
to halt the operation, or enter
NO
to cancel the halt.
If no processes are running when you use the
reload
command or you enter
YES
in response to the
warning message displayed, ACS asks you to respond to the following option:
Do you want to save the current configuration ?
Enter
YES
to save the existing ACS configuration. ACS displays the following message:
Saved the running configuration to startup successfully

restore
To perform a restore of a previous backup, use the
restore
command in the EXEC mode. A restore
operation restores data related to ACS as well as the ADE OS. To remove this function, use the
no
form
of this command.

When you use this command for ACS, the ACS server restarts automatically.
Command
Description
halt
Disables the system.
filename
Name of the backed-up file that resides in the repository. Up to 120
alphanumeric characters.
Note
You must add the .tar.gpg extension after the filename (for example,
myfile.tar.gpg).
repository-name
Name of the repository you want to restore from backup.
