The presence of two similar protections on this input can be explained as follows:

• The first protection at 1.8 bar (26 psi) is the safety limit beyond which the oil separator faces the risk of

implosion. An error shall therefore be generated if this value is crossed for more than 3 s.

• The second protection at 1.3 bar (19 psi) allows warning the operator that the de-oiler filter is saturated

and has to be replaced. Only a warning shall be displayed if the value of the differential pressure crosses
this threshold for more than 5 minutes.
