3. Install vacuum modulator into case.
4. Install modulator retainer and attaching bolt.

Torque bolt 18 ft. lbs.

INSTALLATION OF GOVERNOR ASSEMBLY

1. Install governor assembly into case (fig. 154T).

2. Attach governor cover and gasket with four (4)

attaching bolts. Torque bolts to 18 ft. lbs.

INSTALLATION OF SPEEDOMETER DRIVEN

GEAR ASSEMBLY

1. Install speedometer driven gear assembly (fig.

155T).

2. Install speedometer driven gear retainer and

attaching bolt.

INSTALL CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

With the transmission in cradle or portable jack, install

the converter assembly into the pump assembly making

certain that the converter hub drive slots are fully

engaged with the pump drive gear tangs and the

converter installed fully towards the rear of the

transmission.

NOTE: The converter used in the CM and

CY models has six (6) mounting lugs.
