CMT 130 Book Trimmer

ADJ 4.13 Hydraulic System Pressure

Use the following procedure to adjust the system
pressure to the recommended operating pres-
sure of

1800-2000 PSI

Initial Actions

Remove the lower left door in order to gain ac-
cess to the hydraulic manifold (Figure 4-24).
Loosen the system pressure valve's lock nut.

Procedure

1. Switch on the power to the machine and

press the green start button to initialize.

2. Select

A)Maint.

then select

Service

3. Enter the service code:

2.001

and press

enter.

4. Select

Shipping Position

and press en-

ter.

5. Press the green start button. The knife as-

sembly is forced up for 10 seconds at full
pressure, allowing you to see the system
pressure setting on the pressure gauge (Fig-
ure 4-24).

6. Use a hex wrench to set the system pres-

sure to

1800-2000 PSI

. Turning the valve

clockwise will increase pressure. Turning
the valve counter-clockwise will decrease
the pressure.

7. Switch off the machine, then repeat steps 1

through 6 until the system pressure setting
is between

1800-2000 PSI

8. Tighten the valve's lock nut.

9. Reinstall the door.
