2. Scope
This document covers the handling tasks needed for the removal of the equipment
within the vertical beam pipe and then the removal and dismantling of the old
Target 2, so that the new target 3 can be installed. In the figure below, it can be
seen that the area can be split into two sections, above the technical gallery and
below. It is assumed that the detectors have been removed from the experimental
areas.
3. Tasks
The tasks are described on task sheets with 1 task stage per sheet. Initial task
numbering is in multiples of 10 to allow additional tasks to be added or increased
levels of granularity as the preparation work continues.
