If the push-button is released before the nominal operating pressure is reached, the pump
will stop and will maintain the oil pressure at the achieved level.
On the “control panel” all led’s will go out.
To complete operation cycle, press and hold the push button, on the hand control, until
the nominal operating pressure is achieved. To release the oil pressure, briefly press the
push button.
On the “control panel”, the yellow led ( ) indicating “Pressure released” will come on for
about 15 seconds.
To interrupt the
"PRESSURE RELEASE"
stage, briefly press the push button on the
hand control.
On the “control panel”, the yellow led ( ) will go out
.
The piston of the hydraulic head connected to the pump will stop in the position reached
at that moment.
Subsequent brief impulses given with the control push-button will cause release and stop
actions in sequence.
The “
PRESSURE RELEASE
” operation is pre-set at 15 seconds. If during this period, the
ram has not fully retracted, briefly press the hand control button.
3.3) Charging the internal battery
To charge the battery, use the mains supply lead (16) supplied, connect the unit to an
external supply at 220
÷
240 V 50
÷
60 Hz.
When the connection has been made, the green led (
100%
) will be illuminated on the “control panel”,
at this stage indicating that the battery is under charge.
When charging is completed (charging time is about 5
÷
6 hours), the yellow led (FULLY CHARGED) will
also be lit.
3.4) Supply from an external battery
The pump maybe powered from an external 12V DC battery using the lead supplied (14).
Attach the red crocodile clip to the +ve terminal and the black crocodile clip to the –ve
terminal. Connect the 12V supply lead plug to the socket (20) on the control panel.
The machine will give an audible and visual alarm to indicate reversed polarity of the external supply
.
For correct operation, reverse the crocodile clips.
Attaching the leads with reverse polarity will not cause any damage to the machine.
