Description
Digital and Data Related Messages
ES
The receiver has received a bad sync bit. This message may be briefly displayed during periods
when the controller power is OFF. Long term display of this message indicates RF interference on
the operating channel. Find and eliminate the RF interference. It may be necessary to change the
operating frequency of the remote control system. Note that this message will be frequently
displayed when timesharing the control frequency with another RF system. In this case, the
message is normal and it is not an error.
EA
The receiver has received a message with a bad address. This message is normal in timesharing
situations where multiple systems use the same frequency and different addresses. If the system
is not working, check the controller address to ensure that it matches the address of the target
receiver/decoder. It may also be caused by RF interference. Find and eliminate the RF
interference. It may be necessary to change the operating frequency of the remote control system.
Eb
The receiver has detected a message with a BCH that does not match the transmitted BCH. This
is used for data error detection during transmission. It may also be casued by RF interference.
Find and eliminate the RF interference. It may be necessary to change the operating frequency of
the remote control system.
EC
The receiver has received a bad command. This may be due to RF interference. Find and eliminate
the RF interference. It may be necessary to change the operating frequency of the remote control
system.
EF
The receiver has detected an invalid stop bit. This may be due to RF interference. Find and
eliminate the interference. It may be necessary to change the operating frequency of the remote
control system.
