Formatting a Memory Card
Before yo u can u se a memory card w ith yo u r camera, yo u m u st
format it.
IMPORTANT!
•
Formatting a memory card that already has snapshots or
other files on it, w ill delete its contents. Normally yo u do not
need to format a memory card again. Ho w e v er, if storing to
a card has slo w ed do w n or if yo u notice any other
a b normality, re-format the card.
•
Be s u re to perform the follo w ing proced u re on the camera
to format the memory card.
1.
Press [ON/OFF] to turn on the camera.
2.
Press [MENU].
3.
Use [
W
] and [
X
] to select the “Set Up” tab.
4.
Use [
T
] to select “Format” and then press [
X
].
5.
Press [
S
] to select “Format” and then press
[SET].
•
To cancel formatting, select “Cancel” and then press
[SET].
•
W ait u ntil the “B u sy... Please w ait...” message disappears
from the monitor screen b efore doing anything else.
