4.2 Connecting the Print Module
The print module is equipped with a versatile power supply unit. The
device may be operated with a mains voltage of 110-230V / 50-60 Hz
without any adjustments or modifications.
CAUTION!
The print module can be damaged by undefined switch-on
currents.
Set de power switch to '0' before plugging in the print
module.
Insert power cable into power connection socket.
Insert plug of power cable into a grounded electrical outlet.
NOTICE!
Insufficient or missing grounding can cause faults during
operation.
Ensure that all computers and connection cables connected to
the print module are grounded.
Connect print module to computer or network with a suitable
cable.
4.3 Connecting the CV Rewinder for Backing Paper
Switch off the print module.
Install the CV rewinder for backing paper with an external
mounting plate at the appropriate position at the packaging
machine.
Insert plugs of backing paper rewinder into the socket provided
for it (see page 25).
Tighten the lateral protective screws at the connection plug in
order to prevent an inadvertent removing of connection plug in
running operation.
CAUTION!
The print module can be damaged by defective hardware.
Switch on the print module.
After switching on the module the main menu appears
which shows the model type, current date and time
