MALFUNCTION
If, in spite of the fact that the operating instructions have been followed completely, the Cargo Floor
system does not function correctly or at all, the following points should be checked:
1. Is the PTO/pump switched on?
1a. Is the light on, indicating that there is an electrical supply?
2 Is the oil pressure at the correct level? You must measure this at the designated measuring points
(page BV1) M1 (max. pressure according to page 63) and M2 (return pressure max. 15 bar) at the
switchover valve.
If yes, go ahead with points 3, 4, 5 and 6.
If no, check points 7 and 8.
3. Check that the quick connectors are correctly connected and that the gates are fully opened.
4. Check that the switch (systems A and B) is in the loading or unloading position and not in the
STOP position.
4a. Check whether the LEDs in the plug caps light-up when the system is turned on
UNLOADING: Switch position II, only red LED should light-up
LOADING: Switch position I, red LED and yellow LED should both light-up. (Page BV1)
4b. If the LEDs are on, remove the plug caps from the coil and clean the plug, and then check whether
the function is working now;
If the LEDs are not on, you must check the fuses in the truck and the CF8 switch first, and then
measure the voltage on the plug cap using a multimeter.
If there is no voltage, this may indicate that the malfunction is caused by a break in the cable, or
oxidation, or incorrect connection of the system.
5. Check whether one of the electro-magnets is not operating. To test manual control of the pin of the
on/off-valve (GS02), you need to screw the screw, which is behind the pin, into the pin (Attention!
Unscrew correctly after testing). To test manual control of the loading/unloading valve (G02), you
need to pull out the knob and then to pull on the now exposed retaining ring (Attention! Push back
after testing).
6. Check the adjustment of the switchover valve (page 59)
7. Check the oil level in the tank.
8. Check the system for an oil leak.
If none of the above helps to solve the problem, contact your trailer builder or Cargo Floor B.V.
