Indicator Troubleshooting Table

The following is a troubleshooting table for the Survivalink AED

indicators.

Symptom

Solution

RED “Service” indicator (LED)
is lit.

Maintenance by authorized service
personnel is required. Call Cardiac
Science Technical Support at (888)
466-8686 (USA only), or (952) 939-
4181 (USA and Canada), or +45 44
38 05 39 (International).

RED “Electrodes” indicator
(LED) is lit.

Connect the electrodes or replace
with a new pair.

Battery “Replace!” indicator
(LED) is RED.

The battery is low. Replace with a
new battery.

“Status” indicator is RED, and
no other indicators on the diag-
nostic panel are lit.

The battery power is completely
depleted. Replace with a new bat-
tery.
