HC = Hydrocarbons expressed as hexane (display as propane is possible) given in ppm (parts per 
million). 

CO = Carbon monoxide expressed in % by volume. 

COcorr. = Corrected CO  

O

2 

= Oxygen expressed in % by volume. 

CO

 = Carbon dioxide given in % by volume. 

λ

 = Displays Lambda value. This value has no particular unit. We say that it is a coefficient or a 

ratio. 

rpm = Engine speed in revolutions per minute.
